Inverted Mouse
Haven't found this problem reported anywhere. Every so often (frequently enough) when my laptop comes back from hibernation or sleep or whatever, the mouse is reversed. The mouse settings don't change but the mouse is reversed. Sometimes logging off/on fixes it, other times not. For example, I just rebooted and it's still reversed.

I'm on windows vista, sony viao 430n. I use an external monitor, mouse, keyboard sometimes.

Any thoughts appreciated?

Update - not related to docking
Ok, now i'm sure this doesn't relate to my using an external mouse. Just put pc in hibernation mode, woke it up and now my mouse is reversed. So annoying...

What do you mean by "Reversed", the buttons are wrong, the arrow points the wrong direction or what?

Have you gone into the control panel and clicked on the mouse? On the pointer tab, have you clicked on 'Normal Select'? What do you have the 'Scheme' set at?

Yep
Was set to the windows vista something or other, there are a bunch of options. But none of them invert the mouse. I tried. It's real screwy.

There is a LOT of software and hardware that does not like standby or hibernation mode...
