What program are you trying to use to read the .DOC files (which are created by Microsoft Word)?

You have to install the program you used to create the documents. I assume it was Microsoft Office.

newyork, what program did you use to create the documents originally? I assumed Microsoft Word since that's the program that creates .DOC files.

I can't help you if you don't tell me more about what's going on.
