DVD burning with Vista
I want to back-up Jpeg picture files on to DVDs . I have not got Vista at present but hope to have soon. There is no method to burn DVDs with XP but I have heard that there is with Vista. ..Question ..Is it a straight forward process to back up pictures to a DVD using Vista ?

I have also heard that if Media Player 11 is down loaded then DVDs can be burnt with XP ..Is that exactly the same as the Vista burning method ?

I am hoping it will be as simple as the 'send to' ( or save to ) option for burning to CDs in XP . .....but i suspect it isnt that simple . Can any one who has experience of it explain it please ..... Many thanks

in fact, it IS that simple ... send to will do.

however, if you're looking for something more sophisticated, try InfraRecorder. you don't even have to install the software, just download the zip archive, extract to a folder of your choice and start the executables ( you can choose between InfraRecorder.EXE or irExpress.EXE)
