CPU running ~100% alot, is this an incompatible program?
hi,
i have dual CPU laptop, and my various CPU speed utilities all seem to have them running high, often both at 100% when there is not a lot running....i use Process Tamer program
or Task Manager in Vista and they only show about 40-50% CPU usage by the
various programs, even when the CPU speed shows 100% by a few other utilities ive tried...and the computer is running slow, as though the CPU's are at 100%..

so i'm wondering what is the likely problem?? a program incompatible with Vista is causing problems or Spyware/Virus or maybe one of my CPU's is damaged?
