I have Bitdefender 2008 trial running and have used Uniblue SpeedupMyPC. Can anyone help me please? My pc stands in the living room and the sound of my hard drive is rather disturbing... Please find here my HiJackThis log:

I don't see any malware in your HJT log. You do have a lot of programs running in the background that could be started manually.
Check your enabled services (type services.msc in the run box, click ok) with the list Blackviper suggests:

Rescan with HJT, check this item:

Close all windows except HJT, then click 'fix checked'. Exit HJT and reboot/restart your computer.
