Downloading with Vista, I can't
Does anyone know what the problem might be? When I go to download.com also Cnet I click on a file that I want to DL, the dialog box opens up and I click on run, it goes through the dl process and when it completes it disappears as if I never downloaded it, If I click on save and save it to a folder it downloads but it is not there when I go to look for it.

This is happening not only with IE but in AOL. Anyone might know what the problem is? I might also add that I am admin along with my wife and it dosent help to switch users. Thanks in advance.

If you want, I would consider downloading Mozilla FireFox, a LOT more secure than IE but some things you still must do in IE, anyways, try downloading that go back to download.com and see if it works.

PS. Firefox downloads everything to your desktop automatically.

Are you sure that you are looking in the folder that you think it was downloaded to?
