Login failed..?
My computer froze so I shut it off. A minute after I tried to turn it back on and log in. It said this message, "The user profile service failed the logon. User profile
cannot be loaded." I have windows vista home premium. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I do have a guest account which I am on now. I am a bit of a...lets say the easier you explain it, the more I will understand. I am only 15.

Please and thank you.

Try running the computer in safe mode.

To do this, start the computer, and press F8 as it is loading then login as usual.

If you can do that, try creating an another account and start new maybe?

I found this:
1. Closed down.
2. Turned computer on and immediately pressed F8 repeatedly until I got
"Advanced Boot Options".
3. used the down arrow to select "Safe Mode" and pressed enter.
4. computer then opened eventually in the funny look of safe mode, with
a "Help" window.
5. In the help window there is an underlined "What is System Restore?"
Clicking on that gave the answer and "Click to open System Restore"
6. Click on that and a new window came up recommending restoring to
a previous state before windows update which I had done before the fault
occurred.

Problem
I have this problem as well. I attempted to go into safe mode and creat another account, and i was unable to get to the feature. I then attempted to cope all of my important files to a flash drive but i was unable to get to them to save them. I then cut my losses and tried a system restore to a certain date and none of them are working. BLAH, i dont want to lose all of my itunes and things but it seems my last hope is a factory restore, any suggestions?

Yes. If you can get into the Command prompt in sfae mode (Right clcik the command prompt and "run as Admin") type this and log out and then back in as Admn. You can then try to reestablish you account or open a new one:
