Why is my start bar at the Right side of the screen
That menu bar with the start button that is normally at the bottom left of my computer screen has suddenly moved to lying vertically on the right side of my screen. How do I move it back?

To the right of Start Menu locate an empty space on the task bar. Right-click on the task bar and choose Properties. Verify there is no checkmark to the left of "Lock the taskbar:.
Click on OK.
Now drag the taskbar to the bottom of the screen (it that is where you want it to live).
After that is completed go back to the Task Bar properties and lock the taskbar.
