Chkdsk at every startup help!
When I boot up my computer, chkdsk wants to run for C.
It begins to work, and then freezes at 23% . I tried running it in safe mode, nothing happens. Sometimes I run it and at 23% it just skips and continues on to windows.
This is in the 2 of 3 stages by the way.
Any help would be appreciated. My computer works perfectly fine otherwise, I've run virus checks with no results.

Run harddrive diags.

First force a full 5 stage chkdsk.
If it is still skipping and then continues on to windows, you probably have a bad hard drive. i would backup immediately.

Check the HD manufactures website for the diag tools.
