Vista DVD reading problems
We just bought a new Acer 5520-5626 laptop. Vista installed fine and so far everything else seems to work ok....until....we tried reading DVD's on the drive!
First it will read some CD's & DVD's burnt on one of our other 'puters, even work on a DVD movie disk (Shrek <g>). But first..it came up with a screen that we could change a 'regional code'. It only offered one option 'United States/Canada' in the box. When we reset that the movie played!
Today, another story; the movie won't play, most other data CD's show _only_ the file folder names but won't read the file contents!
Is this VISTA? or a drive problem. I think we should take it back to Staples where we bought it! Thanks in advance. KJ
