Vista Boot Problem
I have a dual boot system that was working
fine this morning. I can still boot into win xp
but not vista.

How can vista's boot manager be fixed without
reinstalling vista all over again?

Download and install VistaBootPro and use it to reset you Vista boot manager.
It is reasonably easy to understand, but if you have problems, post back and someone here will guide you through.

Go into XP's Disk Management and be sure that the Vista partition is set active.
