Dell Resource CD -- MSCOMCTL.OCX
I just reformatted my HD and reinstalled Vista, and when I run the ResourceCD, it seems to install just fine, but at the end of the installation, it gives me this error--

Quote:
Error #339 was generated by ResourceCD
Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Please reinstall this application from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
I don't really know where to look to figure out if it installed ok. When I try to install it again, I get the error immediately, but if I uninstall then reinstall, I get the error at the end of installation instead. I tried the suggestion that I found on many websites-- register MSCOMCTL.OCX, but that didn't do anything (and the file is in the right place).
