VISTA Backup on new Acer laptop
Would like some advice (i.e. help) on doing the system backup with this new Acer ASpire 5520-5626.
Doing SYSTEM Backup to two DVD disks. At the end of the first disk it says 'verifying backup image' however it didn't do that! It said 'verifying image failed' and asked for 2nd disk.
Once the 2nd disk was done it said the same thing and this time it completed ok.
If it failed on the first disk will this be a problem in restoring the System.
Now after the 2nd disk it says 'disk 1 is complete and to put in the 2nd disk'. Has it started over and is it doing the first disk? Help! ..and thanks KJ

Just check the contents of the dvds.
If they are identical in name and size then they are duplicates

Since the image wasn't completed by the time the first disk was used, it likely couldn't confirm that it was valid.
