Need help installing window vista or any os thats not to old lol
The story go's something like this my desktop computer (I builded myself) starts up fine and everything works fine i go in the BIOS and its see everything i go to BOOT and my first boot device is the cd/dvd ROM and i put the window vista cd in and it says press anykey to boot from cd or dvd (now is it suppost to load by itself or you press to key?) and the so i press the key and it says this windows is now loading files after that the sceen just go's black the end ( ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT PLESE THANKS!)

ya i bot it like umm 2 weeks ago window vista ultmate and its not doing any thing sigh

What about your computer? Is it new one, or has some OS (Windows) on it?

ya i builed it myself and thats the probelm i set my frist boot drive to my cd (LG) my 2st is my hard drive(200GB) sata and etc. so it says this "press anykey to boot from cd..." and so i do i get in to the setup and stuff loads the files and then is say to intall windows press enter and so i do and then at the bottom it say plese wait and my keyboard and stuff trun off and it just say that all the time i try different cds like pro. and home but this it does the samething plese wait and witht the window vista one it say this"window is loading files" and after that the sceen goes black but the motior is still on sigh i dnot no want to do

This is correct setting. It must be some hardware problem, but I'm far from being an expert in this matter.
