Didn't work for me. All I got was two text files explaining a few things about the SP, and a registry check file. Nothing further available on Updates.
Guess I,ll have to keep checking Technet but there is nothing there for me yet.

P.S- Later.
Problem solved. I got it from Technet but (maybe of interest to others) still had a problem.
For various reasons, I run my OS with two languages installed. I had to uninstall one, so that I only retained the English language. Everything went well after that. Three stages of install, took about 1 hour.

Be wary !

Remove ALL USB flash drives and disks whilst you install it (especially Readyboost)

It destroyed mine (and I mean physically).

A windows update destroyed USB compoments? Hmmmm
Somehow that seems a bit out of the window. No offence, but if an hardware dies, it is extremely unlikely to be a software update. Unless its on a cd and you jam it in the A Drive

Although before installing something as big as a Service Pack update, I would recommend removing all unnecessary plu in devices (just use Keyboard , mouse; display) until the Service Pack has fully installed.
I'd go as far to say un-install any Antivirus / Spyware programs, and make sure that you firstly bug free
I'm sure there is a list todo But the above is wise
