Hiyas
Dreamsceme is an optonal extra for Windows. Basically, iy plays a looped video on the desktop, either a microsoft supplied one or one of your choice, although there are limits on size etc. So basically, it is just a moving picture that replaces the desktop. Without knowing the computer spec, it is hard to say why the update failed, but system spec is most likely. If you have integrated graphics, thats the usual stumbling point, failing that lack of memory. Dont worry if it wont install, it makes no difference to windowes as a whole. If you know sys specs, post and we can see what is stopping the update, but to be honest, it isnt that important at all.

Hi,
I can't tell you why you're not downloading and successfully installing the updates but let me share my recent experience with KB972463 - incidentally, there were many other folks as well. It's been discovered that the COMODO firewall was interfering with the installation. After completely uninstalling the COMODO [not just disabling it] the download and installation went smoothly and successful. FYI, I manually turned on the VISTA firewall after uninstall and no, I did not reinstall COMODO.
