windows explorer not responding
Help unconfuse me -- frequently when I start-up, I want to sign-in as OWNER. And frequently I see only my desktop picture and the message"windows explorer not responding". I have to then power off by using the power button. I then must sign-in as GUEST - then I can switch users to OWNER. Inconvenent & time consuming! Whatcha' think?

You may have a corrupted profile.

While logged in as Owner, create a new user with admin access, and then reboot your computer, and try logging in with that user. If this works, you can transfer all your data from Owner to the new user, and not use the "Owner" one any more.

If it is a corrupt profile -- wouldn't that keep me from being able to login as "owner" every time? I am very new to this and truly appreciate the assistance. I am not sure about the HOW-TO of your advice. Sorry, I am a little on the dim side. Ha Ha
