Extra Buttons in Windows Explorer?
In Windows Explorer with XP I like to use View - Toolbars - Customise... to add Cut, Copy, etc., buttons as shown in the attachment.

Is there any way to do the same or similar with Vista?

Click the down arrow next to 'tools' (upper right corner). In the drop down menu, click on toolbars, then click on 'customize'.

Can you give us a screen shot of this, as I have NEVER seen what you are trying to tell us?

Thanks, Jacee, but I have the same trouble as DaveA--can't find what you're describing.

Are you maybe talking about Internet Explorer? If so, changing its Toolbar doesn't change anything in Windows Explorer.

Yes, I believe you're right.... those items only show up if added to IE.

I thought I was losing it. I have been using Vista since Beta and have never seen what you trying to have us do.

I know of NO way doing what the OP is wanting to do. That just may be one of the things that a "Third Party" may need to provide.

State the facts up front and you may get help a lot faster.

Now if we can just STOP using "LIKE"

The only thing I can think of.... if the OP wants to see file/edit/view/favorites/tools/help back in the address menu bar:
Open Windows Explorer, click on "organize", click on layout, then put a check mark next to 'menu'.

I don't know how to get the icons back in the menu bar, but cut/copy/paste is found in the edit button.

Thanks again, Jacee (and DaveA). I can use the edit menu or right click menu or any of the other half dozen ways to copy/move/delete; was just hoping for my favorite way.

Thank you both for helping.
