Need Vista Home Basic DVD!
Can anyone help me with this? I am helping someone reinstall Windows Vista on a Toshiba Laptop that he purchased. What happened was that a friend of his formated the hard drive and tried to install Windows XP. The Toshiba Laptop came with 512 RAM, so it was slow as molasses. The problem is that after he got rid of Windows Vista he found out that the laptop doesn't have drivers for XP. It is designed for Vista only. Now I need the DVD in order to reinstall. It is Vista Home Basic. I am not trying to do anything illegal, the authentic Microsoft license key code is attached to the laptop. Where can I buy a copy or loan a copy of the Vista Home Basic DVD? All I have found online are expensive complete licenses. I don't need those! I will appreciate your help!

Might also want to contact the manufacturer of the laptop since it was likely an OEM version that was installed in the first place. They would also ensure that all the necessary drivers would be available.
