What software?
Hi,
I am kinda confused with one of the problem I'm facing at this moment. I know there are softwares for ripping dvd movies i.e videos but I don't know how people manage to rip dvd data discs. If you copy and paste it doesn't work, well it doesn't for me anyway. I was searching on the internet for help but didn't find much help. Then I found this site where you get the most comprehensive helps.

I hope you guys could help me on the problem I'm having at this moment. Could ye please tell me any sotware which will let me copy all the datas from a dvd/cd disc. I want to copy this Vista OEM disc onto my HDD and then burn onto a dvd.

So, looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Almost any burning program such as Roxio or Nero can easily do what you want. If you copy the cd to a file on your hard drive, you can right click it and send it to dvd burner, put a dvd in burner and Vista will ask you if you want to format the dvd and then copy it to the dvd and advise you when done using natve burning software.

OK, I am not understanding what it is you are attempting to accomplish. Do you want to run an install from your hd or what? Why would you copy the dvd to the hd then burn it to dvd? In any case the dvd you burn would not be bootable unless you make it a bootable disk. You need something like nero to make the disk bootable since the built in burning app will not make the disk bootable.

If you simply want to copy the dvd, then that is easy. Just have nero copy the disk. This disk would be bootable.

no i don't really want to run an install from hdd but i want copy a OEM dvd to my hdd then burn into a blank dvd. i have to give back this dvd where i got it from, so i thought i should have a copy of this.

damn, i need to install the full nero ultra edition enhanced to get this software. can i only install the nero disc copy? i don't really like nero that much. i personally use ashampoo 7. do you think ashampoo can do the copying as well?
