Vista Problem
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite labtop today, and it has Vista Home Premium on it. Everything works well, but I don't have the Vista Sidebar to store all of my widgets. Any help on how to get that thing viewable?

It should be in your start menu under all programmes>accessories. Is it not there?

========================

Just click on the Windows symbol (Start) that is located on the bottom left of your computer screen and in the Search Bar type in "Sidebar" and the Vista (Windows) Sidebar will come up. All you have to do then is click it.

Vista has the feature where all you have to do is type in the program or file that you're looking for in that Search Bar and it will pop up.

Good Luck & Happy Holidays....

There may be an icon in the Notification Area that you can click (or right click?) on to make the sidebar visible. If you search for "gadgets" in the Help and Support Center you'll get a pretty complete explanation of the sidebar and gadgets.

Usually the default is for the sidebar to be visible with 3 gadgets already selected.
