Unable to open Control Panel & Windows Security Alerts
Hi All,

I upgraded my pc from Windows XP to Windows Vista Home Premium.

Since then I have not been able to open the Control Panel or the Windows Security Centre. I have looked in other forums, but I have not been able to find a definitive answer.

Control Panel
When I access the Control Panel I get a the message "Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working" and only gives the option to close the program.

Windows Security Alerts
I get the same message for this as the Control Panel error message.

Any help would be greatfully accepted.

Regards

Richard
