Changing the Start Menu in Vista
Hi
I have only just upgraded to Vista and was wondering if there was a way to change the start menu.

When I had XP I used to just go into Documents and settings and into the start menu folder to reorganise my folders in the start menu. I always have prefered to just have a few folders in my programs in the start menu as it looks tidier and is easier to use.

I have looked through the Vista files and cant find the folders where I can change it in vista.

Is there any way of doing this in this operating system?

thanks
Netrom

It's inside a hidden folder. Just copy and paste the following in your start menu search box. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and hit enter.

The easy way to find out where something is in any Windows based system is to right click and Explore or Open.
