Windows Updates
Have a new laptop running Vista Premium...automatic updates download and install fine.

Trying to update other MS progs etc i get this message...i am logged on as administrater? just the one account on the machine...XP on the others update ok...takes some getting used to this OS

Any pointers please...Thanks.

It probly will sound dumb to you, but try "Right-Click", "Run as Adminastrator."

If hat does not work, then im ot sure.

Lol...no not at all dumb...took me ages to work out how to use command prompt to see how fragmented my drive was...most of the easy access options i take for granted with XP have disappeared in Vista...needing to learn all over again.

Whre the heck did My Docs go!!!! was the first shock...ok found things now but what a palaver

It's the MS website page that gives me that message and won't let me go any further...bit stuck on this...all i've done lately is read tuts...can't find an option to get around it.

So anyone know how i get around this website error?
