Repeat BIOS up to 10 times before Windows starts.
I have P4 3.0ghz with Windows Visa.
When the computer start, it run usual BIOS program and Windows start.
But just before Windows start, the computer automaticly restart boot and runs BIOS again and repeat this for 7 or 8 times before finally it gets Windows Vista login screen.
This doesn't happen when is warm or just restart computer. It only happens when it power is off for while then attemp to start. doesn anyone know how to fix this?

Something heat related? Might check that all the fans are spinning.

I think it maybe the other way round. If it is too cold, then the lack of fans, I think, would not affect it. Sounds more like a dirty or loose joint which is becoming activated when warmed up- Try and push your bios chip in a little harder, and ditto with any cards or plugged in devices in the motherboard, even the CPU.

It could be bad capacitors on the motherboard. It also could be a power supply on it's way out.
