Unstable Vista {Moved from Malware}
I am running a new (2 month old) Dell 420S with Vista Premium as an OS. Knowing I was up against a pretty steep learning curve with Vista I have tried to be careful when installing any apps by doing the installation and then running the system for about 5 days before adding any more apps/programs. Things seemed to be going alright (although I can say at this point I am no fan of Vista). Over the past few days I began to notice my system slowing down and often being very unstable, however there has not been any obvious pattern as to when the system decides to become unstable including knocking me off the inter net and popping up an error message saying I have no inter net connection. I often do multi tasking however even when I am very busy, my resources show I still have more than sufficient resources. When I try to use the Dell or MS diagnostic tools I get a lot of conflicting messages when I do a diagnostic set of 2 or 3 cycles back to back. This occurs whether I use the same diagnostic tool back to back or switch from one to the other. I have copied and pasted my Trend Micro HJ report in the hopes that I can get some direction as to what is going on with my system.
Respectfully
marquis
