Windows Explorer Freezing
I'm experiencing a problem that seems to be related to accessing Windows Explorer from other applications. Anytime I try and save or browse for a file in any application Windows Explorer appears, as it should, but then everything freezes and I get a message the application is not responding.

I've tried everything I know to try to clear this issue, but still have the problem. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium. The problem has been occurring for the last six months and I'm about ready to throw this thing out of my window...I'm desperate to get this resolved, so any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated....

While you're waiting....
What have you tried? How much RAM have you got? What information appears in problems and reports re this? Does it mention anything when you've generated a system health report? Does anything appear to be taking up too much resources in Task Manager? Got a minidump to post of an event so someone can analyse it? Do you have a lot of programmes open when this happens? Does it always happen, or does it go through sometimes? Does it eventually resolve itself, or do you have to get out of it yourself?

No need to be nasty katabby. Many of those questions were related to RAM, which I had a problem with on my other computer and which caused things to freeze all the time, including explorer. Looks like I forgot to put e.g., which is all I meant.
