Mic Problems
I was using a different comp before running on Xp. I switched over to Vista when I got my new comp and I am having trouble getting my mic to work.
All the settings are enabled, the drivers are updated but it wont recognize the mic being plugged into the usb port.
The mic worked fine for 2 years on Xp and now nothing.

Have gone to the OEM's web page to see if this make and model will work with Vista?
Remember that a LOT of the hardware that worked with XP will NOT work with Vista.

Ive been workin on the problem with some friends and what ive come up with is, its not the mic. Apparently I dont have an actual sound driver other then my speakers and i cant find any or update. So its not the mic.

What is the make and model of this Mic?
You need to go to the OEM site and download the software and drivers for it.
