Need help with a Vista font issue...
Hello,

I just bought a new PC... a Dell, with Vista Home Premium. After I get it all set up, I've discovered I cannot change the fonts in my e-mails while composing.

They show up in the drop down menu, but no matter which font I select, it goes right back to the default font it's decided to use. I can change font size and color, but not the font itself.

This is happening in Windows Mail and in my Incredimail. I can see all and use all in my paint program, wordpad, etc., but not in my e-mail!

The default font is set to Tahoma, but the default in the e-mail stays on Times New Roman, period.

Any suggestions? Let me know if you need more info from me!

I had the same problem when I first installed incredimail the way I corrected the issue was to uninstall it and then re install incredimail. Hope this helps.

Thanks hon, but that did not solve the problem. This is also happening in Windows Mail... Vista's default e-mail. I can use the fonts in other proggies, but NOT in either Mail program.

Fixed!
LOL... oh man, I feel like an idiot... but at least I won't have this problem again!

It turns out is was a setting in Internet Explorer Properties... on the 'Security' Tab under 'Internet' (Zone)... in the Custom level, it needs to be put on 'Anonymous Logon' under 'User Authentication'... instead of 'Automatic logon only in Intranet zone'.

It was having quite an effect on several things, but the font problem was the worst!

Thanks so much for the help, and maybe this will help someone else down the line!
