Unhappy movavi video converter 6 uninstall wipes out vista sidebar
I installed a trial version of movavi video converter 6. I uninstalled the program. Somewhere in the middle of the uninstallation the program asks if it can shut down windows side bar and when it reboots it will be turned back on by default. Well guess what. After the reboot windows side bar is gone....DOA. Seems they failed to tell protental customers that it has common files with sidebar and when you uninstall it removes all the shared files at all locations instead of promting you want to delete these shared files or not. I know I am not the only one with this problem. Posted an email with tech support. Well we will see. Please someone let me know if you have the same problem.
Thanks a bunch Danaman

To enable or disable the Sidebar in Vista, open Control Panel and double-click Windows Sidebar Properties. Deselect the Start Sidebar When Windows Starts checkbox to turn it off or select the checkbox to turn it on and then click Apply.
