How do you have a password without a username?

I got the same sort of thing with these six Vista updates, luckily ther users on puter could log in as admins and change my password for me. Can you put in the Account name at user name and then your password?

the only way to find out your username will be to use command prompt to look at the different users of the pc

I dont know how experienced you are with computers so this might be a bit too advanced but when running up vista i think if you keep tapping 'F8' it will give you the option of running command prompt. I have not tried it this way but if you are able to get command prompt open you then need to type 'cd c:\users' then type 'dir'

this will give you a list of the different users on the computer and you will hopefully recognise one of them as yours, you can then use it to log in.

I have never had to do it this way so can not promise it will work but it is worth ago to find out your user name.

Good luck
