Vista Update Error
Hi All,

So everytime I check Vista for an update it tells me that there is SP1 available. I click download and every single time, it fails. Its getting annoying now so I am wondering if there is a way to remove this specific update from my update check list. See the attached screen shot. This download fails every single time and constantly pops up at a later time if I cancel, or just won't go away. Any suggestions besides a fresh reinstall of Vista?

What does it say when you click "View available updates"?

Service pack 1 for vista has not yet been released, it is currently under beta testing and you have to have signed up to certain services to be able to receive this.

Is it only the 1 update that does not work or do none of them work.

i had a problem where Vista would not update due to a service not running in the back ground, but before we go in to that find out if any updates will install.
