Vista update problems
My windows update download automatic updates and also install them. But I'm having problems installing the last ones:

Office 2003 (sp3)
Update for office 2003
Update outlook junk filter

All of the above fail to update. Have no bloody idea why...

Anyway, it keeps warning me that I need to install them because they've been downloaded... How do I remove the update files so it won't remind me again?

Which updates (KB articles) are they? Try manually installing them. You can download Office 2003 SP3 here: http://www.microsoft.com.nsatc.net/d...displaylang=en

These are Office2003 updates. Most reliable way I've found there is to separately download just the service pack and install it manually.

If I don't want to update, how do I delete the update files in order to make it stop warning me to install them?

Is the problem the you want to install the Office2003 service pack but can't or don't want to install the service pack at all?

If you are wanting to stop windows update from reminding you to update right click the update that you dont want to install and click "hide update" this can be undone by pressing the " Restore Hidden Updates" button on the left of the windows update screen.

Hope this helps
