Internet Problems
I am having a problem with Vista I think. I have had a new Toshiba Satalite for about a month now so, of course, it has Vista installed. The listed problem may violate the terms of use here and if it does please let me know as this is a legit problem and not intended break any rules.

The problem I am having is that if I go to a site that Explorer deems to be porn it immediately causes the internet to slow dramatically until finally a few minutes later the Internet develops a problem and has to shut down.

I have tested this with actual porn sites and non-porn sites that may appear to a comuter to be these sites and it does the same thing. However, if I go to youtube and play a risque video it won't do it because it doesn't seem to know the difference.

I have tried putting said sites in my safe list and turning off all parental guides yet it does no good. I just want my Inet to stay on no matter what site I'm looking at...how do I do that?

So how do I change this so it doesn't happen again? IE on XP didn't do this. Why is it doing it now?

What are your Security setting in the IE Options?
If it is HIGH, then that could be your problem.

Medium-high. What setting is a good middle ground? Is Medium too obvious?

I'll give it a shot and let you know what happens. Any suggestions if that doesn't work?

Other than what "Protection" software do you have installed?
