windows mail
I have a problem with my windows mail. Emails arenot showing as a listof emails received, sent, deleted etc.
When you click on new, old, deleted etc. one email only comes up with contents showing. I have to delete the contents to get the next email.
Can you tell me please how to get emails as a list showing who from, etc.How it is as to default settings. Thank you

Perhaps you need to go into "View" and then layout. Select "folder list" and, at the bottom, "show preview pane"
Possibly you are looking for more, but see if that is enough.

Thanks. I have the preview pane, but when emails come through they are not listed separately.
I have to click several times on inbox before the email comes through and then it has the whole message not just who from etc. as before when i then clicked on this to get the whole mesage. I used to get a list of emails that were in the inbox. I don't now.

I looked into this again, and I had to click the preview pane off.

You had the preview pane full size and all you need to do is resize it so it is NOT covering up the listing.
