Startup Item
Hi, I am running Vista home premium, and in my startup list is an item called simply 'Load'. No company reference, no nothing. It may be that it should be there and as I am reasonably new to Vista I can't be sure. My daughter uses this PC occasionally and I wondered if it might be something not meant to be there?
Thanks.

Look at the startups with
Startup Control Panel or Startup Control Panel (Exe version for Vista)

The path to the startup files is shown. If the path is not there or invalid, just turn off the "Load" entry and see what happens. But chances are that with no path, it was just left behind.

This was my thinking too, but with relatively little experience on this OS it is sometimes better top ask the question first. I will disable it on next restart and see what happens. many thanks.
