Windows Vistax86 One Click Activator
Please read this because I am not sure what to do and I would like some good opinions on how i should deal with this problem.

Problem
I bought a laptop off of ebay with windows vista ultimate on it.

It's great! I love windows vista.

But the other day ago I went to do my updates (these would be like the 5-8th ones ive done since i bought it), after it updated it said that there was some software that was doing something with the windows vista activation, and something.

so i ran my virus software and spyware (AVG, and SPYBOT) and spybot says that "Windows Vistax86 One Click Activator by ClonySoft" is a Trojan.

I read up about it some more, and it appears to me that the above program is used in "Cracking" windows vista.

So my dilemma is that I'm afraid that if I uninstall the stuff my windows wont be valid after that. And I don't have an installation disk or code or anything.

Ive had this computer for like 4 or so months.

Obviously there are several problems here:
1. The eBay seller has sold you an illegal product.
2. You now have an illegal copy of Windows which you can't keep using legally.
3. Your copy of Windows knows that it is illegal and will continue to tell you about it.

So:
1. Complain about the seller. If they refuse to do something, at least you have given them bad feedback, which others can see.
2. If this doesn't work, buy a legal copy of XP or Vista, or install a free operating system, like Linux.

Yes, that is because the activator cracks the Vista activation and makes it believe it is valid. What you have done is downloaded an update that detects these cracks but doesn't de-activate Vista.
