adaware with vista?
I cant seem to find if adaware is compatible with vista?

if not could someone recommend a good spyware scanner/remover for vista

We have it running a Vista machine. I was running on another, but OneCare and it does not get along.

I get all my files from www.filehippo.com it has all your needs, including adaware

Just use UAC and a good AV program like Kaspersky or NOD32. No need for anything else.

Yes, it works very well under Vista. But I'd recommend that you use at least 2 (if not more) anti-spyware apps to be sure you catch them all. Each has its own strengths.

If you have any problems with Ad-Aware, it may be necessary to right-click the shortcut, Properties, Compatibility tab and disable Desktop Composition during the time it is running (After you set this, it will do it automatically).
