Can't connect printer
Im not very good with computers but I tried to connect my printer to this laptop but it didnt work so could someone help me walk through the steps and get my printer connected (it's a realy big hassel emailing my documents to my other computer then having to print them off on their).

I have Lexmark x5270 color printer and a vista laptop and the printer is connected to a network because we use it with our xp desktop already.

Also i tried installing the drivers and it says that there is not enough space but i have no idea why. On top of that i also attempted creating a new local port and when i tried to find the model printer i have it wasn't listed so im stuck on what to do right now. thx for all the help guys

If the printer is shared, find the printer from the Vista machine using Windows Explorer, right click the entry and select "Connect"

Should that be "Lexmark" as I find no Lexon printers?

Install the drivers from your lexmark printer CD onto your Vista laptop. Reboot and try again.

Try, in the "Add a local printer/Create a new port/Local Port",to type in the network share name, or create a new port for the printer and it should work.

Google your printer and find the drivers and install them on your Vista machine. You NEED the drivers to make it work.
