I've been having a strange networking problem in Vista 32-bit. I have no clue how this all started, I just noticed problems one day and it's been the same ever sense. My wireless card still works and I can connect to networks, but the actual networking interface in Vista is gone/corrupt. First off, the networking symbol in the task bar is x'd out. When I right click on it or highlight it nothing happens. When I click 'Network' on the start menu, I get a blank screen. If I go to the control panel and click on any of the 'network and internet' links the tab freezes and takes like 5 minutes to pop-up. This is extremely annoying when I travel and need to connect to a new wireless connection. It takes me 5 - 10 minutes to get the network connections window to come up so I can connect to a different network.
