Touch pad not working
hi,
something really weird just happened i was working in my computer normally and went out for a moment and when i came back my touch pad was not responding, so irestarted the computer and it still didn't respond. I checked to see if the device was damaged or something and it said everything was fine, but it still doesn't work. can someone can someone help me?

ps: after the problem appeared i plugged an usb mouse and that worked fine but the mouse pad still didn't work.

Alberto.

Look in the device manager (windows+pause/break) and see if the mouse and other pointing devices have any abnormalities. You can try updating the driver for the touchpad (or delete it and let windows reinstall it)..

Great. Just mark the thread as solved in the thread tools above your first post. That would tell others how to resolve this problem in case they land in a similar situation.
