Hi. I am a student technician for East Carolina university. In the past few days we have seen an increased number of these problems. Currently working on two with the exact same problem.

At the moment, smitfraudfix, combofix, smitrem, and pretty much all major AV/AM/AS programs cause the Buffer over run.

I tried the MalwareBytes "Full Scan" and that BSOD'd so now I am trying a "Quick Scan".

I will let you know how this turns out for the ones we have here now with that issue.

Forgot to mention these are XP machines.

**UPDATE**: It worked

Last edited by drunkmuppet : 27-Mar-2008 10:42 AM. Reason: Confirmed. Malwarebytes Quick Scan resolved the issue. Cheers.
