windows defender won't allow AVG update
My wife's Vista Home Edition computer will not permit AVG to update virus profiles.
Windows Defender ( Startup programs ) says " AVG is not yet classified "

Adobe, Java etc are " permitted " How do I make AVG permitted ?

Thanks

Frankly Avg has issues in Vista and if I were you I would uninstall it and install Avira instead.

Oh and disable Windows offender please, it does nothing but cause porblems anyway and you disable it in Control Panel , Admin Tools, Services.
