Need help fixing rundll32.exe error!
I just installed some new Nvidia drivers for my laptop and now I am getting this error upon startup:

"NvSvc: rundll32.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x02d5c198 referenced memory at 0x0000024c. The memory could not be written.

Click on Ok to terminate the program."

It happens right after I start the computer up, it is the first thing I see.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion the model is dv2845se and I have Vista Home Premium. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it

Should I just install an earlier driver and see if it has something to do with the compatibility of this driver with my laptop? I am getting the message upon startup and after quiting games (Team Fortress 2, Oblivion). Would it just be best to install a different nvidia driver release?

I am having the exact same problem. I have tried updating my Nvidia drivers, but the same problem remains.
I have a Dell Insperion 1720, with Vista Home Premium. I have searched several forums for a solution with no luck. If anyone has found a solution to this problem, it would be appreciated, as Microsoft & Dell have been useless.
Thanks!
