Unhappy Help Deleting File - Please
Hello,

I downloaded a file on Firefox and it downloaded it on my desk top (as usual)
However, whenever I try to delete this file, it freezes the screen and right clicking would take 20 seconds to load up. When i managed to try to delete it, it says i need permission to delete it even though I'm in my Administrator account.

Right clicking and deleting other files on my desk top takes no less than 2 seconds, but there is something wrong this this particular file. I have like 10000 anti-viruses and detects no viruses.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Thank you!

Hi, you have tried right clicking on it and clicking "scan with ..." Your antivirus should have an option to scan that specific file. Just to make sure it isn't a virus.

You could try deleting in Safe Mode - if it doesn't delete, rename it and try....... or cut to the chase and use a file deletion utility such as KillBox.

Thank you!

I went to safemode and deleted the file w/ KillBox

But when i download KillBox in normal mode, it did the same thing when it wouldn't run and i was unable to delete it. When i entered SafeMode, KillBox worked perfectly but i deleted Killbox too because i wouldn't be able to run it or delete it on normal mode.

It's weird...

Removal utilities will usually remove the file at boot-up before the given program engages.
