Ive sorted it cheers , turned out to be build 43 of 2008 that is totally faulty - ive upgraded to build 52 and its OK now although when the service of build 52 runs at boot it slow windows boot a little when desktop appears and icons usually fly into the tray it takes about 8 seconds for the 1st one to appear the each one takes 2 secs after that... so Ive disabled the service, will just use it manually
