 IE7 AND FIREFOX on Vista cannot access some websites like google, myspace, hotmail.. hi!
I use vista home premium on an hp pavilion dv9000 notebook. i noticed that since last tuesday (4/15/08) i can connect to the internet allright, but some web sites like google,gmail, myspace, hotmail, yahoo etc, i cannot access. they just keep on loading forever, and never get to the end. itīs wierd īcause i can go to youtube or any banking websites. on google, the only way i can make a search is by the "iīm feeling lucky" button".
its the same on IE7 and FIREFOX.
i tried to use someoneīs else connection but the problem is really on my pc.
on 4/15/08 an update on windows defender was made, but i already tried to use the internet w/ it disabled and nothing changed.
I already tried to disable my avg antivirus and windows firewall.
I already disabled all services taht non microsoft.
I already tried on DOS (as administrator):
netsh winsock reset
netsh interface etc etc globallevelautotuning=disable
netsh int ip reset
I already cleaned the temp files of IE, and already disabled all add-ons
I already set the IE to work w/ ssl 1.0, 2.0and 3.0
...
some times the internet works fine for a couple of hours then this problem comes back again
I already called microsoft support but all we did so far didnt work
shoul i reinstall my win vista?? itīs really the last thing i would like to do, is there any other way to solve this? |
