Angry Solved: MS wireless mouse
Hi again. Why is my stoopid MS wireless mouse not working properly, it used to. It "sticks" in one place when I try to move the cursor and the buttons don't work sometimes. It's so intermittent and random it drives me crazy. I've replaced the batteries, restarted and to no avail. Thanks for all your help in the past.

Have you cleaned the bottom? Sticky stuff builds up below.

Yes I cleaned the bottom, the touchpad seems to do it too though not as bad.

Does it do the same thing in safe mode?

mouse
Yes it does it in safe mode also. I was wrong about the touchpad, it doesn't do it when I only use the touchpad. I'm thinking maybe it's the mouse itself.

Howdy AcaCandy, thanks for all your help. I'll mark this as solved and try a different mouse.

Also, another quick thought, try a different mouse pad.
