If that is the only blue screen you have received, it is best to ignore it for now. The faulting module was not specific to a Non Microsoft program.

I've seen Kaspersky cause issues, but it's premature to judge.

Not much can be told from it.

For any future BSOD, follow these instructions (don't upload them to Media Fire):

1 > create a new folder on the desktop and call it "dumpcheck" or whatever you like
2 > navigate to %systemroot%\minidump and copy the last few minidump files to that folder.%systemroot% is normally c:\windows. They are numbered by date. You can paste that address in address bar to get there.
3 > close the folder and right click on it and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.
4 > use the "manage attachments" in the "advanced" reply window to upload that zip file here as an attachment.

This might point us to a non-system driver causing the error, if one exists for it.

>> If you are automatcially restarting after blue screens, do this, run sysdm.cpl and go to Advanced > Startup and recovery. UN check "automatically restart".

This wll ensure you don't miss anything.

Try uploading a newly zipped minidump -- that one appears to be corrupt -- I cannot open it.

Well it's basically the same as before and I can't see anything that stands out like a sore thumb.

One thing I do notice is that your Intel SATA drivers seem a bit dated >>

I would look to update these.

It has to be the ram. Did you find compatibility for that ram and your motherboard from either ram maker site or motherboard site?
Time to run memtest86 which will download to cd or floppy disk Run 4 complete tests and each one has 8 passes. Any errors at all and you have your answer, www.memtest86.com

I'm not seeing anything other than a memory management fault that involves an invalid reference to a "thread" -- which is part of a programs working memory.

It does not point to a 3rd party application.

Hard to troubleshoot anything unless it recurs on a fairly predictable basis.

But you can try running eventvwr.msc and looking at the System log for recent repeating errors.

Any involving the "disk" or "NTFS" file system would be especially significant as they might indicate a corrupt file.
