Can I get Vista to Run on this?
32 MB RAM
233 MHz Intel Pentium
20 GB Hard Drive
DVD-ROM

Has anyone tried this? It'd be really cool to see what the least anyone could get vista on is!

Experiment if you want but Microsoft already has recommended system requirements. Your system doesn't really come close. I doubt the Vista disc will let the installation continue.

That's what I'm wondering!

See, I want to play a trick. I want to install vista and put the box in place of my room mate's rig, and he'll wonder why it's so slow!

Let us know how the trick goes! I am betting that the install disc will stop the installation when it checks out the system requirements.

It will take about 3 days to do a upgrade and about 2 days for a clean install.

that would be a nice trick if you could image his drive so icons / etc all look the same, i did something simmilar once but not trying to slow his sys i had alota bugs set to screw with him, it was fun...

i would say just setting up that pc for that trick would be such a bi*ch its not even worth it find some other funny stunts you can pull on ppl on google, look for fake hacks or something like that, or get VB and script a basic kiddy script to do some simple stuff with a few hours you could learn how to do some fun stuff with IE / Icons, fake popups etc...

dont even bother with that idea is my suggestion it probably wont work anyway...

Hope i didnt cross the Q&A on my response TSG...
